We have released Auto-Illustrator 1.2! This free upgrade brings a host of new features and improvements that makes the software more stable to run, more fun to use, and quicker to use effectively.

Auto-Illustrator 1.1 is listed in VersionTracker's Top Downloads in their Graphics category. Some of the comments from the 5,702 users who downloaded it through their web site include "You want it - no, really - you WANT it!" (legolas), "Great way to get out of the box!" (gr8Scott) and "Nice...very nice." (iZac1). Thanks guys. Oh, and to the user who suggested we "sell it in really difficult to open cardboard boxes" - hmm, well, we're doing exactly that.

Signwave releases Auto-Illustrator 1.1, four months after 1.0 was released. This version improves stability and functionality on all platforms, especially Mac OS X and Windows. It is also the first ever boxed set release - meaning that Auto-Illustrator is now a proper physical product instead of just a downloadable software item. Customers now have the choice of buying just a serial number online, or purchasing a full boxed set, which includes a printed manual, dual-format CD-Rom and certificate of authenticity.

Auto-Illustrator appears in the GENERATOR show, at Spacex Gallery in Exeter. For GENERATOR, Auto-Illustrator 1.1 has been published in collaboration with Spacex and i-DAT as a limited editiona serialised boxed product (200 editions only).

Suckmypixel has also produced a handy plug-in for creating your own xeoObjects quickly and easily - the Instant xeoObject plug-in creates a .xeo file from any selected artwork, and saves it in your Automations folder. It makes producing variations on a theme a breeze, as the Instant xeoObject plug-in varies the selected artwork's positioning and scaling each time.
